Lara Briden, ND
Lara has been a full-time naturopath for more than twenty years. In addition to her work with patients, which she loves, she writes extensively about natural health. She the author of the popular blog The Period Revolutionary and the books Period Repair Manual and Hormone Repair Manual.
Lara first worked as a researcher and evolutionary biologist at the University of Calgary. She then went on to qualify as a naturopathic doctor (Canada) from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1997, passed licensing exams and practised as a naturopathic doctor in Alberta, Canada. In 2001, she moved to Sydney, Australia.
Her love of science and the natural world has informed the way she works with patients. She views the body as a logical, responsive system that knows what to do when given the right support. And in her 25 years of practice, she's seen that simple principle in action with thousands of patients.
